How to submit RMD animated drawings to DeviantArt

For those of you struggling with submitting your animated drawings to DeviantArt, the most important thing to know is that once you have downloaded your drawing as a .SWF file - you must submit it to DeviantArt under either your scraps category or in the animation category. These are the only categories that DeviantArt accepts uploading of SWF files.

Well, there's two ways you can do it. One way is to click on the "share" button that you see next to each of your drawings in your gallery. Two images will pop up ... a .swf file and a thumbnail image. You need to download both to your computer. Here at DA, when you go to submit, you'll need to choose the Flash/Animation category, then when it asks you which file you want to upload, open the .swf file you saved to your computer. It will then ask you to choose a preview image, so you'll upload the thumbnail image you saved, and that should do it.

The other way is to take a screen shot of my drawing, crop it, and save it as a .jpg file to your computer. When you submit here, then you can choose a specific category, like portraits, fantasy, etc. and you only have to upload the one file you've saved.

ok i listened to what you said and it worked but the pic is so freaken small you can go to my gallery if you want to see it's the only pic anyway its so small do you know how i can make bigger help please!!

Maybe you're just downloading the thumbnail, not the .swf? Make sure you uploaded the .swf to dA first and while you're under that submission, it'll ask for a thumbnail, and that's when you upload the .jpg image. Hope that helps!
